Parish School of Religion

Our PSR Vision is to help everyone we encounter become the Saints God created them to be.

Our PSR Mission is to help children and their parents encounter Jesus, grow in relationship with Christ and His Church, and learn how to live their faith fruitfully in daily life. We strive to nourish the faith life of families and teach them how to become disciples who make disciples through prayer, giving an autherntic Christian witness, frequenting the Sacraments, and relying on the Holy Spirit. PSR meets September-May on Wednesday from 6:30pm-7:45 pm.

Families are encouraged to attend Sunday Mass with their children, as the Wednesday PSR evenings often include discussion with the children about the meaning of the Gospels at Mass. Children want to learn how to participate in Mass and they do this best by watching their parents and others in the Church community on Sundays. Much of what they learn in PSR is centered around the Liturgy since the Eucharist is central to our relationship with Jesus and living our faith in daily life. Parents are the first and best educators of their children and the PSR Ministry is here to support you in your mission of sharing your Catholic faith with them.
